Restaurant Recommedations

 Great for Dinner:
-Stanton Social: small plates; awesome club atmosphere with great music; french onion soup dumplings are a must have
-The Little Owl: tiny restaurant in the West Village; need a reservation a month in advance; avocado and tomato salad and halibut were both wonderful
-Nuela: nuevo-latin restaurant in Flatiron; huge restaurant with a trendy atmosphere; skirt steak is great
-Bocca Di Bacco: Italian restaurant in Hell's Kitchen; very authentic; unbelievable pasta
-La Palapa Cocina Mexicana: authentic Mexican restaurant in the East Village; enchiladas and margaritas are delish
-Cafe Mogador: Moroccan restaurant in the East Village; tangines are my favorite
-Holy Basil: Thai restaurant in the East Village; awesome cashew chicken
-Panna II: Indian restaurant in the East Village; delicious food but be prepared for horrible service- it's part of the fun of the atmosphere though; BYOB- you'll need it
-Ayza Wine and Chocolate Bar: self-explanatory from its name; located in Midtown

Casual Spots:
-The Hummus Place: Mediterranean food in the East Village, Upper West Side, and in the West Village; incredible hummus and pita
-Artichoke Pizza: late-night pizza place in the East Village; creamiest, most amazing pizza I've ever had; so rich that you will regret it for days
